Julep Twist

Here’s the Murray McDavid twist on the classic Mint Julep cocktail.

INGREDIENTS:

2.25 ml Cask Craft Dailuaine/Bourbon Finish

0.5 oz sugar syrup

10 mint leaves

Cubed & crushed ice.

 

PREPARATION:

In a shaker, shake the bourbon, mint leaves, and the sugar syrup with ice. Strain into a tumbler glass or julep tin filled with crushed ice. Churn gently with a long handled spoon and top with more crushed ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint and serve.
